*backdated*
I am so dreading to get out of bed this morning. Almost 3 months of pure enjoyment and doing pure brainless activities has to all comes to an end. T.T My first lecture was, how should I describe it? Oh yea the lecturer was extremely monotonous and this of course isn't such a good news at all. Cause sooner or later, I know, I just know that he will put me to sleep. Serious shit. That boring.
The past whole week had been spent touring around the city. Monday and Tuesday was spent settling our uni stuffs. Wednesday, we headed to Darling Harbour and Circular Quay, where the Harbour Bridge and the Opera house are. On Thursday we did nothing much, just walked around Chinatown, which was oh-so-
not-impressive, and later took a walk along the city and stopped by
QVB. Saturday was one hell of an experience - The Bondi Beach to Coogee Beach walk took us almost 4 hours. But the scenery was fantastically beautiful. Another thing that kept us all entertained along the way was some ridiculous "spotting game" (insider's joke =P ask me about it) invented by the twins, just to get their free meals. All in all, the walk was tiring, but not regretting it (: And not forgetting Sunday. We went down to the Harbour again, but this time with the intention of catching a glimpse of Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth 2. Apparently it's a big thing. Haha QE2's gonna retire and this will be her last stop. I guess all of you will expect me to say "Wow, the cruises are really huge and beautiful. Really hope that one day I will be able to go on board one." And yup that's exactly what's my answer gonna be. Tee hee. We even walked all the way to this place called
Mrs Macquaries Point where we can see the "meeting up" of the 2 cruises for the last time. Haha sounds so human-ish to me. Lol. Basically that's about it for the first week and as usual pics below.

Helloo people!! I'm finally all the way down under and I'm lower than all of you, geographical wise. (: Weather's good here. Everything's good. Practically I'm all settled down and yea been walking around the city today. To be precise, I'd been doing lots of walking for the past 2 days. From this campus to another campus, from uni back to Yee Yen's place back and fro. Exhausting I would say. But anyhow, everything's settled now and this means that it's traveling time!! Tee hee. And somehow I guess I'm still not use to the time yet. I was dead tired and sleepy yesterday that I accidentally slept on the couch in uni!! Takes some time though.
As everything's settled, a bunch of us made a short trip down to Darling Harbour and then to Circular Quay, where The Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Bridge are. Then headed to the other side, The Rocks, to have dinner at
Pancakes On The Rocks and it was good. Will upload pics soon I promise. Right now I'm too tired. Ta people! (:

So this is it. Everything packed. Bags all locked. Double and triple checking to make sure that I've not left anything behind. And so it's goodbye to my home of 20 years and helloooo Sydney (; (:

Nope I did not abandon my blog ok. For once since the first day of CNY I'd been home the whole day. Well CNY was pretty normal. Somehow rather I'm not at all feeling really really excited about CNY. Don't ask me why because I'm still trying to figure that out. Come and go just like that with the usual activities. Like gambling. Tee hee. Speaking of that, it started off pretty well but then my luck turned the other way round. T.T Also this year, I'd cut out a lot on "bai lins". So which means less angpows.
Let me start off with "Chor Yat", in other words the first day of CNY. Visited the neighbour as usual and then it's off to my "mama's" place. FYI, my hometown is non other than KL. So, yep no balik kampung experience for me. Tea drinking session for my "mama" and "dai pak", mahjong (I'm more familiar with playing "rami", don't know the exact spelling, but well it's pronounce like that) cum gambling sessions, yearly CNY photo sessions, nibbling on CNY cookies are the usual things that I did. Some pictures on Chor Yat.

She was on demand that day as we quote her the "dai cheong gum" aka Jewel in the Palace wannabe

Cousins (=

Was trying out my mini tripod. Not bad eh.
Chor Yi had lunch appointment at Holiday Villa and was spent in my "mama's" place after that again because it's "hoi lin" or is it "lin"?? Anyway it's the day when all the daughters come back to their mother's place. More or less like that. Correct me if I'm wrong. (: So we had our usual "lou sang" and the big feast during dinner and after dinner 20 of us went for CJ7, the Chan's family norm - yearly CNY late night movie norm. I would rate it 4/10. Not exactly my type of show though.

Lunch

Lou Sang.

Better post up a picture of her before she merajuk =P

Chans and Chens :P
Chor 3 and 4 was spent on "bai lins" with family. And then slowly, routine was back to normal. Gotta run now as friends are here d. Till then (:

Surprise surprise (= Supposely, by now I should be flying halfway through the Indian ocean all the way down under. But nope I'm not. I'm still sitting down on my comfy computer chair, typing this on my laptop, wearing my PJs, almost getting ready to sleep. Nah don't worry. I didn't miss the flight or any other nonsensical reasons that you can think of me missing the flight. It's just that I postponed my departure date to the 17th of Feb (: Well orientation (which at this point of time, I feel that it's just so not important to me anymore) only starts officially on the 18th, so obviously I changed the date and forked out 150bucks all by myself to change my date (may I mention that at the same time I was kinda pissed at uni for posting up the orientation schedule so late!! Roarr).
So far, CNY's been pretty good although I'm not so hype up about it. Good thing about CNY is the get together, the gamblings tee hee, the mahjongs, the angpows and that's about it. Will blog about it soon, I promise.
For now Happy Chinese New Year everyone!
Mann I am getting really tired!! :)
